Bargaining Update #13. Bargaining update for Apr 1

Yesterday, we met with the administration for our 13th bargaining session. As we approach one full year since the election, they still have yet to make any offers regarding dental insurance, pay stability to cover the cost of rent, mental health costs, parental benefits, and many others.

Despite having two weeks since the last session, we received no counter-proposals from the administration today.

They also reiterated their position that protections from discrimination and harassment should be carved out of our contract. This is a good moment to stop and reflect on where we are: a year out, our fight for a fair contract continues.

We hope that you join us on our union birthday(s): April 18, election and May 1, certification to build solidarity. We must raise our voice stronger now to get a contract effective in the fall.
