We’re Voting #UnionYes for Our Union

For years, Harvard student workers have been organizing for more stability in our pay, more security in our benefits, and a contract through collective bargaining. Now is the time for us to vote yes to establish our union, HGSU-UAW.

It’s been more than a year since we filed for a fair election. Since then, the need for our union here at Harvard has only increased. We’ve experienced cuts to our pay and benefits, attacks on immigrant and international students, and the failure to address sexual harassment and assault.  Without the security of a union and a contract, we have no meaningful say on the issues that matter the most to us as student workers.

But we’ve also seen our power when we come together, including helping defeat a dangerous tax on tuition waivers. Together, with a collective voice, we can work to improve our workplace and ensure we can continue providing quality teaching and research. We’re voting yes.

Student workers are organizing our union from across all of Harvard.
