The campaign to Revitalize Federal Support for Science was launched by Graduate Workers of Columbia-UAW, the labor union for research and teaching assistants at Columbia University. Grads here at Harvard involved in our union, HGSU-UAW, have joined in the effort. We want to urge our government to increase STEM research funding which will help Harvard University flourish. When we act collectively we have power, not only in our workplaces, but also in our political voice.
Please join us for a panel and discussion on how grad unionization can shape the future of science research funding and improve our working conditions and lives here at Harvard.
